Have you ever been in a Museum ?

Why we went to the Museum : We are currently learning about early settlers in our classroom.
What was the main idaea: For history like, we learnt about the timeline and we also found some of our connections and relatives that went in the C company.
We went on the 4th of june 2019
During this piece of work I really enjoyed making the design like the background colour.
I found challenging that I could always improve and make everything better.
I have definitely learnt a lot from the trip.
From this blog post I am a stepping up learner.

Can you divided numbers ? I know I can

So here is a explanation on how to divide,
Today I have explained how to do it with using screencastify and google drawings.
Our equation today is 320 divided by 80, I am going to break it down in easy steps so you can learn it and do along with me.
First step the equation, well you have the equation which is 320 divided by 80 then you are going to break it down and write it like this 320 divided by 10 divided by 8, you are probably wondering why have I done it this way because let me tell you it makes divided way easier to do.
You are doing it because it depends on what number you are dividing by in this case we are dividing in the 10s because your dividing by 80 .
Write a equals sigh underneath ( you always do your working out on the right side of your equal sighs) so in your head work out what is 320 divided by 10, so that equals 32,
so write 32 beside your equal sigh once you have done that you have to work out what i s32 divided by 8 which equals 4.
Remember were we are on your 2nd equal sigh and you have writing 32 divided by 8.
Last step is writ another equal sigh and once you have done that all you need to work out is what is 32 divided by 8 equals 4

Moment in time

This piece of writing is my moment in time, about the endeavor coming onto Maori land and a Maori man performed a haka as a welcome as the do because that is how they great each other in that culture and to the endeavor people they thought it was a threaten to them so they shot that man, and because in those days the Maoris didn't have those guns ( they didn't even know what a gun was) so when they shot him the people around him didn't know what just happened to one of their men, eg ( how did they kill him with magic MAGIC !!! )
So this is what my moment in time is about.
My reason i decided to choose this moment of time was because i thought i could involve a lot of different varieties of things from the rubric, one of my main goals while i was writing this piece was to describe things better, so like ( his puipui beads banged on his legs, instead of that I saId His cold puipui beads scrapping along my rough skin like that basically, I really wanted to involve short sentences and compact ones to, so it could have balance.
I think it was a great idea we went out and was experiencing in that environment, I think if we didn't go out i wouldn't of had as such of a great piece of writing that i have published.
I know about this story because, one day of the week Turanganui went out to waikanae beach for the day, and the teachers explained to u sthe story and we learnt some facts by stopping and looking and captain cooks statue and a whole lot more, We also started watching the short clip of Willie Apiata which had taught us a lot about anzac day and that we should be very grateful for what we have in life, and what it was like for him when he was facing those tough times.

Moment in time
Picture this, 258 years ago a Maori priest once said “one ainga ake, a he pai waka ka haere mai ki runga to tatoe tino whenua me kaore e taea te whakaatu titiro tangata”,
One day, an extraordinary Waka will come onto our land, with indescribable humans.

Seeking out to sea, my face glued on with shock (is that what i'm really seeing, ) the most alluring ship/Waka I had ever seen before. Bracing myself, piercing my toes the damp sand ( eating my feet ) in a split second, the snappy wind whisked my emotions away.

Stancing, my cold puipui beads scrappin along my rough skin, preparing to do the haka, ripples of unlike emotions washed over my chancy body. ( emotions that I had never felt before. )

With all myn,  but I keeped on going. Throwing them a sudden… but most furious pokana while some strange pakea people were strangely walking towards the front of the towering Waka, my bloodshot eyes were deflating. breathless courage, my gravelly voice powerfully unleashed out of me, my throat starting to feel swollen

Numerous thoughts parked directly in my mind.
Continuing pounding my chest so furiously my blood flow was jittering. As anxious as I was, my reckless arms were fighting the pain. (  A drum was my heart pounding rapidly. )

BLAHHH!! Bang there was a uncoordinated pause, alarming ecos struc our ringing ears, while our dismayed faces sat there, these weird discoloured humans that had swiftly emerg towards our land and just killed a person with magic MAGIC !!!!!!!! I had a tennis ball as a head banging from side to side, Anyway what do we do ?

cybersmart learning today

Today we choose someone famous from Nz, we made a copy then had to write 3 facts about our person that we choose ( I choose Nancy Wake )  So then  I did and expanded on my ideas, thanks to Matua by giving me feedback and me going back and trying my best.
After that we had to insert a unlabelled image, and eventually cropped the image to any shape we liked,  Finally write about why we choose this person. ( and change the background colour ) I choose green because Nancy wake was in the army/ seccert spy.
